I went through all of our CDs and DVDs/BluRays and found something I forgot I owned. 😅 I don’t remember ever really diving into these lessons as the style of the teaching just didn’t work for me. This wasn’t the teacher’s fault; over the years I learned that the best way for me to learn music and get better at my instrument is through learning songs.
If you tell me how to play a scale, my brain automatically asks ‘how do you apply that to a piece of music’. Following that path of learning songs instead of practicing technique allowed me to both develop technique and incorporate bunch of different things from different guitar players that I consciously (and sometimes by accident) I quote. 🎸😁
