In 2014, amidst the whirlwind of becoming a father, composer Chris Bartels took a brief break to play his acoustic guitar and birthed emotive pieces reflecting the beauty and bewilderment of new fatherhood. Initially, these compositions served as a personal creative outlet. It wasn't until 2018 that Bartels revisited and transformed the recordings, giving rise to the moniker Olma. Now, a father of three, Bartels continues to produce and release these evocative pieces, drawing inspiration from the chaotic yet enriching moments of family life.
