Amber Simone Baker Chinn was born on September 25th. When Amber was just 6 months old, she was diagnosed with āleft craniosynostis,ā The doctors then told Amberās parents that they were going to have to perform a tracheotomy if the next attempt of intubation was unsuccessful. Amberās mother knew she would be a singer performing in front of millions of people and told the doctors not to perform a tracheotomy. It turns out her motherās intuition was correct because Amber Simone Chinn has developed such a unique singing voice.
Amber Simone, at age 19, was captured poolside singing her version of the song āThe Worstā by Jhene Aiko. After her friend's mom shared it on Facebook and YouTube, it generated over seven million views.
A story like Amberās has grasped the attention of not just news outlets and publications but from other artists, producers and musicians as well such as Nick Cannon, Grisleda, Harry Connick Jr., Capella Grey.
