The next video will be on a game I recently played that deals with existentialism. Coincidentally, I had finished Neon Genesis Evangelion at the same time I completed the game. It's a lot to process so there's a lot for me to say, as a lot of what I'll be discussing will be from personal experience / growth.
So expect the video to be another sentimental video :)

Channel / Video Update:
Hey everyone! It's been awhile!
To be straight with all of you, I took a bit of a break from working on videos to focus on other aspects in my life. Don't get me wrong, I've been working on my video every day since I announced it, but the progress I've been making each day has varied from little to none. I've put more focus on looking for a new job and a couple of weeks ago, I managed to get one! I'll be starting the job in the second week of July, which I am very excited for!
So what happens with the channel?
I still plan to continue uploading on this channel for years to come. Making videos has been a passion of mine since I was young and reading all your comments have truly kept me going and wanting to improve my craft. Thankfully with the job I'll be starting, I'll be able to have a healthy balance between work and YouTube. Just know though, during the first month or two, my focus will mainly be on my new job, as I'll want to make sure I'm settled into it before I start working on videos again. So if you see some inactivity on my channel in the next few months, just know it's not because I gave up!
So when is the next video coming out?
I have some free time before I start my next job, which I will spend almost all of it working on the video that I announced. It's about 70% done! Like with a lot of my videos, I spent the last few months playing games and recording cinematic footage for this video. I've also done a bit of rewrites as well. I'm actually glad I've taken time with this video, as some of the early takes I had were not the best lol. So far, it's looking great! I hope to have it out for you guys by the end of next week!
I appreciate you guys for sticking around and I can't wait for you guys to see what I've cooked up!

If you had to pick, which would you rather choose?
Feel free to go into details in the comments on why you chose what you chose. Or if you feel like you have a completely different take on the subject of game content, let me know! Your comment may be used in the video.

Just when I lost hope on getting this video up...
"How "Gaming" Threatened a Nation" is out now!
Let me know what you think in the comments :)

So my "Threatened a Nation" video has been submitted for a manual review. This is my LAST edit. If it gets hit with inappropriate content again, I'm throwing in the towel and deciding to not upload it (at least not on youtube.) Some of you recommended some other websites and when I get time, I'll look into whatever is the best one. I really hope it doesn't come to this, as I want this video to be up with all my other videos here on Youtube.
I'm preparing to move on though by working on the next video. Originally, I planned to make my next video on "The problem with lots of game content" but recently I've been binge watching the new Fallout show (its amazing so far btw) and it got me thinking of a new video topic.
"The problem with "Live Adaptations" (it's not what you think)"
In this video, I'll be talking about an issue that both studios AND audiences have when it comes to live adaptations. It's a problem I have with most adaptations, regardless if the product is good or not. It's another persuasive essay, but I swear, this is not gonna be some toxic rant video. I don't plan on pushing out negativity EVER on this channel.
Both videos will be civil :)
I plan on talking about the new Fallout Show, and why I think it is hands down one of the best adaptations (not just in gaming) that I've ever seen. Along with a bunch of other shows and films.
So I'll let you guys decide what you want to see first :)

Video Update:
Some very unfortunate news.
The past few days I've been having to edit my video over and over due to Youtube flagging it for inappropriate content. This is honestly really frustrating as it seems like no matter how much I censor my video (altering the audio, pixelating, blurring, flipping videos, etc.) it continues to get flagged automatically. It's to the point where if I upload just ONE minute of it (this being a purely innocent scene,) it'll still get flagged. I spent the last month making something that I feel is truly important and informative (something that also doesn't take sides) only to have this happen.
I guess I didn't really consider that Youtube would find "Gaming Disorder" to be an inappropriate topic.
So I'm left with two choices:
A. Play it safe: Toss the video in the vault and move on to my next one.
or
B. Say screw it, upload the video that I intended to make and run the high risk of getting a strike on my channel.
I'm going to continue trying to find other solutions but so far that's where we're at. So because of this, the video has been delayed indefinitely. I'm sorry it's turned out this way. I really wanted you all to see what I've made, and it's definitely something I would've loved to read your thoughts on.
I have thought about making a Patreon and uploading the video there, but with where my channel is at right now, I don't feel like I'm at that point yet where I can provide enough content worthy of one. Also I'd hate for this video to be something that's exclusive to just Patreon.

New video will be out sometime next week! (maybe even sooner than that...)
The video, "How Gaming Threatened a Nation" is by far the heaviest video I've ever made. It goes deep into "Gaming Disorder," a new disorder where those that suffer it are unable to control their urge to play video games. It's very much a controversial disorder. There are those that believe it to be real and those that refute it. The country that suffers the most by it however is one of the very few that extensively regulates the entertainment medium.
In this video, we'll look at how "Gaming" has affected the youth of the country, as well as how "gaming addiction" may have deeper rooted issues that go beyond games...
I hope you all enjoy the video when it comes out! (weird thing to say though since the video is quite dark LOL) No live premiere on this one. Video release will be within the next few days. :)
(also thoughts on the thumbnail?)

Video Update:
The difference in tone with this new video and my last upload is night and day haha. I'm really aiming for a cinematic feel with this one. More than my other videos. Unfortunately, I had to cut the "personal experience" aspect for this video. As good as it was, it doesn't entirely fit with the overall purpose of the video. I'll definitely include it in another video, but for this one, since I'm focusing on a country, it's going to be omitted. The topic and country I'm discussing will be VERY sensitive for some. My goal is to be as neutral and understanding of both sides of the argument as possible, while also making sure the research I do is credible. I feel like I struck a good balance of the two sides. I fear regardless though, this will ruffle some feathers. I'm still aiming for the end of this month, but if that doesn't happen, early April!
I was also very surprised by the comments in my last post. I related with a lot of you in that there are periods where I don't play at all. When I was younger though, gaming was all I ever did. Now that I'm older, I find myself picking up my controller less and less. But if a good game were to come out, I'll play for several hours if it has me hooked. That might have to be a topic I'll tackle for a future video... Thank you to everyone who shared their experiences!
