Operation Heroic in Rafah: Fernando Merman and Louis Hersh, abducted by Neri Yitzhak, successfully rescued alive! Shin Bet and Yamam forces, alongside the IDF, extracted the two captives overnight from a building in Rafah. During the intense hour-long operation, there were exchanges of fire with Hamas' "Sheburah" battalion. A soldier sustained minor injuries. The released individuals were airlifted for examination at Sheba Hospital. Their condition is defined as good.

▪️ The IDF announced the deaths of four soldiers in combat in Gaza. A statement from the IDF spokesperson includes the names of the fallen soldiers who died defending the State of Israel.
▪️ The Israeli Security Cabinet announced at night its decision to deduct funds intended for Hamas from the Palestinian Authority's budget: "The Security Cabinet decided to deduct all funds earmarked for Gaza from the Palestinian Authority's budget, in addition to the existing deduction of money paid to terrorists and their families. Israel is severing all ties with Gaza. No more Palestinian workers from Gaza will be employed in Israel, and workers who stayed in Israel on the outbreak of the war will return to Gaza."
▪️ The U.S. House of Representatives approved the aid package to Israel totaling $14.3 billion. The proposal now needs Senate approval. According to reports in the U.S., the proposal is expected to face difficulties in the Senate, controlled by the Democratic Party, as the bill does not include assistance for Ukraine. During a press briefing, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby clarified that a proposal that includes only Israel is not expected to pass definitively: "The President will veto a bill that includes only Israel. I think we made that clear."
