Back up bottle of Vent Vert Balmain, vintage

Perfumer Germaine Cellier created this progressive and rebellious to the time fragrance back in 1947.

Lesser known VV preceded Chanel no 19 (circa 1970) and Private Collection Estee Lauder (circa 1973).

Still just as relevant and breath taking today.

For avid green lovers, if you can, I would recommend to experiencing this.

Galbanum-y, oak mossy, narcicuss-y, spicy, yellow, definitely perceive an orris accord, feels a bit rhizomic and veil of powderiness, a touch of balanced saponic freshness, growing vegetal notes rising in the background, cracked branches from a tree, resins.

Smells like brooding happiness.

Mysterious white floral

Feels like jasmine and orange blossom petals wrapped in honey, touched with a vanillic benzoin and nutty almondic nuance.

Gently counter balanced by a translucent green far in the background that keeps the feel substantial, but never dense.

Colored by a subtle fruity cherry like aroma on the opening, that feels like blushed cheeks.

Dry down has a vaguely waxy feel that works in harmony.

Familiar yet distinctly unique.
