Hey guys,
While I have predominantly discussed politics off Youtube, on Twitter and Tiktok, I will share my thoughts given the result of the US Presidential Election given its precedence, shock and horror around the world.
I am heartbroken. I am heartbroken for women, I am heartbroken for people of colour, I am heartbroken for the LGBTQ+ community, I am heartbroken for those who emigrated to America for the promise of America, I am heartbroken for those who seek safe refuge in America, I am heartbroken for reproductive freedom, I am heartbroken for healthcare, I am heartbroken for the economy, yes, the economy, as he will only help himself, the rich and big corporations. I am heartbroken for all of us who had hope and supported joy over hatred and division, I am heartbroken as I watch from across the pond in Ireland. I stand in solidarity with all of you who, like myself, are scared, are sad, upset, angry, shocked and worried. I am heartbroken that the candidate who was the most qualified, who was the candidate of common sense, decency, good-will, hope, joy and the candidate of freedom, was not supported by the majority. I am also heartbroken for those of us outside of the US who will be impacted by this result. I am heartbroken for all of us in Ireland, in Europe and around the world who now have to brace and make contingencies. I am heartbroken for Ukraine and the Middle East. I am worried for those of us in Europe who have relied on NATO to ensure our safety, freedom and security.
But the fight is not over. It's important that we hold that hope and joy that Kamala Harris reinvigorated in just 3 months and we use that to continue to fight for freedom, rights, decency and democracy and no matter what happens, we must continue to vote, to use our voice for good and to stand with one another through the next 4 years, no matter where you are in the world. Vote like your life depends on it.
Nevertheless, POP Incursions will remain our inclusive safe space no matter who is the President and no matter where in the world you are. We will support one another and continue to be a positive, inclusive community.

RDJ is well known for playing the beloved Ironman but now he returns as Doctor Doom for the rebranded Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars! Avengers: Doomsday in theatres May 1st 2026 and Avengers: Secret Wars premieres May 7th 2027!
