*STOP KILLING YOURSELF FOR THE SAME PEOPLE*
A palm wine tapper climbs to the top of the palm tree not too far from the village to tap wine. From that height he could see the only Church in the village.
He could see the Church members and all the activities going on within the Church.
He recognises the regular faces of these Church goers. He knows them.
Few days later, he went into the bush to tap palm wine as usual.
From the top of the tree, he was able to see the village shrine and the witch doctor that manages the shrine.
He was also able to see the regular patrons of the shrine and could recognise each of them.
One day he was asked by his wife why he doesn't go to Church. He replied .... *NA THE SAME PEOPLE OOO*
His brother who is a traditionalist also asked him why he never pours libation to the gods of the land nor visit the shrine. He replied.... *NA THE SAME PEOPLE OOO*
They were confused but he alone knew what he meant.
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE DEY GO CHURCH and SHRINE at the same time*
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE SINCE 1960 OR THEIR CHILDREN AND CRONIES DEY RULE US*
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE WEY SHOUT POWER TO THE PEOPLE THE DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY, NA THEM SHOUT CHANGE AND NEXT LEVEL YESTERDAY AND NA THE SAME PEOPLE DEY SHOUT RENEWED HOPE TODAY*
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE DEY CHANGE PARTY LIKE CLOTH*
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE WEY WEAR KHAKI THEN DEY WEAR AGBADA NOW*
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE WEY DEM CALL CORRUPT NAIM DEM DEY HOST FOR LONDON, ABUJA AND UYO*
*NA THE SAME PEOPLE WEY CARRY UMBRELLA NA DEM DEY CARRY BROOM NOW AND NA THE SAME PEOPLE WEY CARRY BROOM DEY CARRY UMBRELLA NOW*
And to cap it all......
*NA THE SAME IMPOVERISHED MASSES DEY ALWAYS SUPPORT THEM*
*Stop killing yourself for this SAME PEOPLE*

đŻď¸ Today in History: November 18, 1949 đŻď¸
75 years ago, 21 defenceless workers of the Enugu Coal/Iva Valley Miners were tragically shot dead by British police. Their only "crime"? Demanding a pay rise for their hard work.
This painful event is forever etched in our history, immortalized in Chief Osadebeâs song âOnuigbo.â
Let us remember their sacrifice and share this to educate others about this dark chapter in our struggle for justice and dignity.

Damning Data Exposes APCâs Fragile Foundation
New data has sparked fresh scrutiny of the All Progressives Congress (APC), painting a picture of a party formed less on shared ideology and more on political expediency. Critics argue that the APC was merely a coalition of frustrated politicians driven by personal ambitions, tribal sentiments, and regional agendas.
Described as a grouping of âstrange bedfellows,â the partyâs focus appeared to prioritize power acquisition over governance, raising questions about its ability to deliver on its promises. Observers are now asking: how were these red flags not evident earlier?
This revelation has reignited debates about the need for a leadership framework built on vision, unity, and genuine service to the people.

*President Xi Jing Ping of China said:*
As a small child , I was very *selfish*, always grabbing the best for myself.
Slowly, everyone left me and I had no friends. I *didnât think* it was my fault and I criticized others.
But my father gave me 3 sentences to *help* me in life.
One day, my father cooked 2 bowls of noodles and put them on the table. One had an egg on top while the other bowl had none on top.
Then he asked me to choose a bowl of noodles.
Because eggs were hard to come by those days, I chose the bowl with egg!
I was congratulating myself on my wise choice/decision and decided to wallop the egg. To my surprise, I saw that my father's bowl of noodles had *two* eggs at the bottom beneath the noodles!
With much regret, I scolded myself for being too hasty in my decision.
My father smiled and *taught* me to remember that *what your eyes see may not be true*.
He added that, *If you make a habit of taking advantage of people, you will end up losing*.
The next day, my father again cooked 2 bowls of noodles: one bowl with an egg on top and the other bowl with no egg on top.
Again, he asked to choose the bowl I wanted.
This time, I felt smarter so I chose the bowl without any egg on top.
Hmmmmmm to my surprise, there was not even a single egg at the bottom of the bowl!
Again, my father smiled and said to me, *My child, you must not always rely on experiences because sometimes, life can cheat you or play tricks on you*.
Never be too annoyed or sad, with situations, *just treat experience as learning a lesson that cannot be gotten from any textbooks*.
The third day, my father again cooked 2 bowls of noodles, one bowl with an egg on top and the other with no egg on top.
He asked me to choose the bowl I wanted.
But this time, I told my father, *Dad, you choose first. You are the head of the family and you contribute the most to the family*.
My father was very happy and he chose for me.
He chose the bowl with one egg on top. But as I ate my bowl of noodles, to my surprise, there were *two* eggs at the bottom of the bowl.
My father smiled at me with love in his eyes. He said, *my child, you must remember that when you think for the good of others, good things will always naturally happen to you*.
I always remember these 3 sentences of my father.
Xi Jing Ping
