Going live again with ChomboSort tomorrow at 2pm CST, with a simplified syntax and several other updates!
• Removed the need for a period separating the melody note root and the chord/scale spec, so you can write commands that look like familiar chord notation, e.g. "Cmaj7 Gmin", etc.
• Your whole comment will now be looped if there's no one else in the queue after you (rather than looping only the final chord).
• Automatic transposition of "out of range" commands into the nearest valid range.
• Omission of the chord spec will play a major chord, so you can quickly write out simple progressions like "d a b- f#- g d g a" (the "-" character is an alias for "min").
• Some new chords and scales available.
I've been loving the music people have created via the chat with this, can't wait to hear more tomorrow!

Also new/different this stream will be the use of YouTube's new Vertical Live feature (vertical aspect ratio live streaming), meaning it should be a more mobile-friendly experience.

I'm excited to release ChomboSort today! It's a chat-controlled musical bogosort machine, much like the "BogoSort Sheds" videos on this channel, but with the notes controlled by you in the chat.
It's going live at 6:00pm CST today: youtube.com/live/4wEnWQjcJxs
Here's the complete syntax to use in the chat: bit.ly/chombosort-syntax
Channel members and Super Chats get access to an extended set of features to control ChomboSort, and command priority via a dedicated queue. Become a channel member here: youtube.com/@AlgoMotion/join

I've just released a collection of interactive scale & mode videos that you can play using keys 0-9 on your computer keyboard. Mobile users can use the timestamps in the video descriptions.
These can help you acquaint yourself with the sound of a given scale or mode, or be used for pure entertainment.
