Dr. Eric Michael Bryant serves with Gateway Church in Austin as the campus pastor in South Austin and for the Online campus. He serves with the senior pastor Carlos Ortiz, Jr. and the founding pastor, John Burke.
For 12 years, Eric served with Erwin McManus as part of the leadership team at Mosaic in Los Angeles, a church known for its creativity and diversity. The four years prior to that he helped plant a church in Seattle, WA.
Eric coaches pastors and hosts a podcast on ministry in a Post Christian context. He graduated from Bethel Seminary where he earned his Doctorate of Ministry in Entrepreneurial Leadership.
Eric’s book Not Like Me: Learning to Love, Serve, and Influence Our Divided World helps Christ-followers overcome the negative Christian stereotype by embracing the people Christians "love to hate." His second book is Fruitful: Becoming Who God Created You to Be.
Eric lives with his wife Deborah in South Austin. They have two young adult children - Caleb and Trevi.
