Remember the film "Pretty Woman"? And that magnificent necklace with diamonds and rubies? Vivienne (Julia Roberts) received it from the hands of millionaire Edward (Richard Gere) for a visit to the theatre. The necklace looks so gorgeous that the heroine is afraid to touch it, and when she asks about the cost, she gets the answer, "$250,000."
The necklace for the iconic film was created by French jewellery house Fred Joaillier specially commissioned by the film company and is valued at $1,350,000. It is made of 750 white gold, 23 pear-cut rubies framed by diamonds.
