This morning, we've seen close to 100 rockets fired at various cities accross Ukraine. While many were intercepted by missile defense systems, many others hit infrastructure and civilian buildings, including some areas in downtown Kyiv.. Putin wants to take revenge on Crimean bridge attacks, and wants to destroy Ukraine in the process..

If, for the past 20 years, you stay out of political discourse, don't be surprised if you don't get included in the decision whether you live our die. (Putin announces mobilization)

I just lost a lot of respect for Jordan Peterson.

I always thought he knows right from wrong. He like Coach Red Pill seemed to knew communism and totalitarianism when he saw it. But recently he not only lost his moral compass but his analytical compass as well.

First of all, geography seems to be a bit of a weak point for him. He confuses the Caspian and Azov seas. Then he mixes up northwestern and southeastern Ukraine when talking about Russian-speaking Ukrainians. (Again, so what if they are Russian speaking? Are French-speaking Canadians any less Canadian than English-speaking ones?)

But the low point of his video is devoting so much time to another guy similarly detached from reality - Russian apologetic Mearsheimer.

Maybe Mearsheimer never got the memo that invading other countries is something that stopped being fashionable after 1945?
What about admitting that invading lands, killing, torturing is not normal?
And so is handing control over invaded territories to terrorists and criminals (what Russia did with Crimea (read about Aksyonov, DNR, LNR, people with nicknames and call signs? lol)

What's remarkable is that Peterson is a critic of Canada's leadership too. He is concerned with Trudeau's policies about keeping order in the country. All the while ignoring that people in Ukraine are literally DYING (getting executed, tortured, and blown up to bits). Just so they don't get to live in real slave conditions under real criminals and terrorists.

Maybe Jordan Peterson needs to visit Ukraine before making another video about Ukraine? He'll do his listeners a big favor.. But I won't be one of them..

Late last year, I met Coach Red Pill in Kyiv. I was one of his early subscribers. I liked and often quoted his analysis of Solzhenitsyn - including his commentary on the Gulag Archipelago and Day in life of Ivan Denisovich. Just search for "CRP solzhenitsyn" and you'll see what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qOP_w... To flip to such a degree hating totalitarianism with all his guts to supporting it is so unexpected. (He hated sellouts - even criticized Jordan Peterson for it.) Even if he was recruited by the FSB, it still makes no sense why he'd spew anti-Ukrainian messages while 1) being in Ukraine 2) being in a country with martial law 3) being in a country with MARTIAL LAW! 4) remaining in an active war zone (Kharkiv), and 5) having family in Ukraine?

This war will take half a year at least. Putin reaches a new low after new low. For example, his orcs forcibly took several thousand residents of Mariupol to Russia under the guise of evacuation. Their Ukrainian passports were taken from them. Nothing is known about the fate of these citizens, they will either be assigned a place of employment without the right to leave the country or be held hostage so that they could be exchanged for Russian soldiers captured in Ukraine

How dangerous is Putin?
I think he's more dangerous than he's ever been at any point in the last 22 years.
I think he did not expect to lose in Ukraine, and therefore he will not lose.
He will grind the country down to a fine, fine ash.
And it doesn't matter how many Russian soldiers die in the process,
how many Ukrainian soldiers and civilians die in the process, he will not be humiliated by people he calls "little Russians."
What that means for Europe, you know, if you just—even if you set that tragedy aside or that blooming tragedy aside, again, a million people in a week fled.
And because he is losing and because the sanctions and the Ukrainians are humiliating him, because he is backed into a corner, he is the most dangerous he has ever been, because it is now existential for him.
And if you think he doesn't know that everybody in the world understands that the only way to end this is to put a bullet between his eyes, he knows. And that makes him also much more dangerous.

Lviv's population increased by 400,000. Mild weather. Lots of traffic and people on the street.

Remember those apocalyptic movies where everyone is mad and fighting each other for gas or a spot to get ahead of you? Yes...

Giant gas shortages. Diesel can be found here and there, and gasoline is hard to come by. Many gas stations boarded up. 1-2 hour lineups. Thus, leaving Kyiv by car with 1/2 tank is virtually impossible. Most people are taking the vinnytsia - khmelnytsky - tetnopil - lviv route. If you do not have a full tank of gas and not going south from Kyiv, then might as well not go. All highways and arterial roads west, north, and east of the capital are blocked or blown up.
