BIG announcement! 👇🏻👇🏻

After months of work I’m officially releasing my most comprehensive and ambitious bass course! bassmasters.co/

It’s called Mastering The Masters and there’s 10 lessons that each cover the techniques and secrets of the world’s most legendary bassists.

It’s a very personal course to me because, back in 2012 I was feeling completely stuck for years and had no idea how to go from an intermediate to an advanced bassist.

But then I met Jim Stinnett at Berklee College of Music, and he would demonstrate and break down the language and techniques of bassists like Victor Wooten, Flea and Cliff Burton into bite-size chunks. I’d practise these chunks every day along with backing tracks until I could play them perfectly.

I want you to have that same clarity so I’ve put together a course that reveals each bassist’s favourite licks, breaks down their signature playing techniques, explains their harmonic vocabulary and a lot more.

As an added bonus, during my launch week I'm offering the course at 50% OFF

Just click here and I’ll see you there! bassmasters.co/

My fellow bassists,

In my never ending quest to provide education that will help you reach your goals, I'd love to know what your favourite style of music is!

I'm keeping the styles fairly broad to give each one a fair chance! Comment if your favourite style isn't listed!

This comment really struck a chord with me...

I know how frustrating it can be to realize that you've believed a lie for a long time. It's especially annoying when someone told you that lie when you were a child or teenager and didn't know any better. We can live so many years with a false belief that holds us back from doing things we love.

The truth is that every aspect of music can be mastered. Some of us might pick it up more quickly and enjoy it more than others, but we can all make huge improvements if we practise the right exercises for enough hours.

I'm so glad Alexander found BassCamp and that my exercises helped him! If you want to have a look around what the BassCamp Patreon has to offer, you can do a free trial here: www.patreon.com/CharlesBerthoud

Hope you find it helpful, have a great day!
