Someone recommended this book to me in the comments section a few weeks ago, and here it is. I'm still reading it. The book is all with quotes from people from the scene, telling it first hand how it was back then. There are lots of crazy stories, like when Matt and Tim (from Rancid) were scared of Sammytown's (Fang) gun rampages. Highly recommended!

I had already purchased the digital version of Peligro's autobiography to help me create the most accurate and truthful video about him, capturing his perspective. Today, the physical copy arrived, and it’s going straight to the top shelf.

Regarding the Finn McKenty situation, I think it's a great loss. I liked his punk videos—yeah, he only made a few of those, but they were cool—and I didn't watch much of the rest. But the ones I saw were pretty great, even if they felt a bit like Wikipedia summaries.
I don't believe he doesn't care about music, and I completely understand his burnout from making videos about bands he doesn't like. This made me reflect on something: in all 111 videos I've published so far, there's not a single song featured that I don't like. That really makes the work much easier.
And now I'm gonna rewatch my own toy dolls video because i friggin love the songs!

For my 100th video, I’m letting you decide the subject! I’ve got three in the works, and I want you to pick which one I’ll release next. Here are the options:

I'm Tome, a Portuguese who puts together nerdy punk stories about my favorite bands. It's a hobby.
I narrate most of the videos, occasionally using a British-not-a-robot-friend's voice on some. I also use block texts.
Focus on punk groups from 1975 to 1999, with exceptions - unaffiliated with bands - leveraging "fair use" for songs/clips.
