Gazi Peker alias DJ Gazi is a Kurdish born, Danish DJ, musician, composer and actor. His special mix of Turkish and electronic music is well expressed on the 4 albums he has released. The first “Kismet" was published in 2008. In 2018 Kurdish Requiem. In 2022 he released his 3 album "A Sad Song", “The Voice and the Poet” in 2023. In 2024, he released a new version of the song "Kurdish Requiem" titled "Kurdish Requiem, Single Edit".
“Thunder Break" from the album "Kismet" was released on a worldwide CD compilation "Made In Turkey Vol.4" on 2009. In the company of Sezen Aksu, Sertab Erener, Ajda Pekkan.
"The PainRoad Tease” & "Mihemedo Remix" were released on the compilation CD "I Love kurdish Music" in Germany, with e.g. Ahmet Kaya, Sivan Perwer, Aynur Dogan.
“Thunder Break" was nominated for Track of the Year 2008 in the Danish World Awards.
“Oh tha...dearest kismet" ” from the album Kismet is used in the TV series "Blekingegade", episode 4 2009.
