Finding Pea’s of mind
In my wildest dreams I never thought that I would have an allotment, but due to a crossroads in my life I found myself one evening applying for a plot.
The next thing I knew….. I’ve been allocated a plot and was knee deep in mud and manure! It’s amazing how quickly the benefits of fresh air and being in the outdoors can clear your mind of the day-to-day stresses of life.
Being someone who suffers from anxiety, the benefits of having an allotment and the overwhelming satisfaction of seeing you’re hard work bare fruit at harvest time is for me the best medicine.
So if you are thinking of wanting to apply for a local Allotment…..Go for it, you never know….it may just grow on you!

How is your plot looking right now?
After the winds we have had here over the last month I was surprised to find the plot in the condition it was.
Ok so the water butt was blown over along with my strawberry planter, but apart from that just your usually winter on the allotment.
