Favorite part of time in Moorea? Definitely snorkeling with the sea puppies and sea kitties (aka stingrays and reef sharks). I admit I was kind of nervous about it beforehand but they were all so chill and friendly. 🥹

It’s been one year of posting on YouTube!! (mostly, somewhat) consistently!
Over the last few years we’ve filmed our travels, planning to make videos, irrationally, considering that I hadn’t made a YouTube video in years and had only ever posted occasionally years ago. But I insisted on filming anyway, sure I would get around to it someday. Well I am thankful we did!
Over this past year, we’ve been catching up on sharing our travels through Peru, Chile, Italy, Thailand, and a few of our more recent travels to US National Parks while we’re traveling full-time in our Airstream.
21 videos, each of which took me 30+ hours to create. Each a little scrapbook of cherished memories that I can always revisit, and that (hopefully) help and inspire others to visit these incredible places as well. Or to simply get some entertainment joining us on our adventures and listening to our bad jokes. 🤠
I also started experimenting with 63 short-form vertical videos posted over this past year. And recently Peter has been learning how to make shorts so I can focus on the oh-so time consuming YouTube videos. Check out our last 5 shorts to admire his work. 😉
And we are still catching up on travels as we continue to add to the backlog! Here’s what we’ve got lined up and what you can look forward to over the next few months:
- French Polynesia trip (Tahiti video coming soon!)
- Airstream tour before and after? (still trying to decide if we should do this one since it’s not “travel” and we’re not trying to be an RV life channel. What do you think?)
- North Cascades NP, Glacier NP
- Yellowstone NP, Tetons NP (which we’re visiting in September!)
Still learning a lot and struggling with posting regularly – need to figure out how to cut down editing time with a busy full-time job and travels 🤪 – but this past year has been so rewarding and I’m excited to continue learning and improving.

P.S. Sorry for the long wait on this one, we spent an extended time visiting family this past month and weren’t able to spend much time video editing. I’m still trying to figure out the balance with work, life, and travel but I am hoping to speed things up with a more authentic, less “overly-edited” style moving forward. Can you tell from our faces that we love pizza? 🤣 Well we really do (fun fact: our wedding dinner was pizza!), so obviously during our short stop in Naples, the birthplace of pizza, we wanted to try as many of its top pizzerias as we could. During our visit to Tuscany, we climb the Leaning Tower of Pisa, take a Vespa tour through the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, and explore the ancient city of Volterra. Not to mention the reason that brought us to Italy in the first place: our friends’ beautiful Tuscany wedding!
We had such an incredible time in Tuscany and we can’t wait to visit again someday to explore more of this stunning region of Italy. We hope this video will help to inspire your own trip to Tuscany! Stay tuned for more videos of our Italy travels coming soon.
