Patient Feels Like A New Life Has Been Given To Him | Patient Reviews His Gynecomastia Procedure.

In this video, Dr. Aniketh Venkataram from The Venkat Center, Bangalore, speaks to a patient about the gynecomastia procedure that the patient had taken up a few days ago. Initially Dr. Aniketh observes that there are nice results after ten days after the surgery, even though there is swelling, the area where the surgery will get better in the coming days. When asked how the patient was feeling, the patient states that he is feeling good, he has a ‘new feeling’, and he also feels like a part of him has been taken off. He says that he’s getting a ‘new life’ altogether. He’s now happy to remove his shirt confidently. The patient stated that there was a lot of hesitation in the past and now that hesitation has been replaced with a 100% confidence.
Another issue that Dr. Aniketh points to is the fact that it is difficult for people suffering from this condition to convince family members that this condition needs attention and possibly surgery. The patient agrees and says that he had difficulty convincing his family members and this has been going on for three to four years. But the highlight here is about the personal issues faced when the patient goes swimming or goes out with friends. He then says that he was able to convince his family members that he had to take up this surgery.
Next, Dr. Aniketh speaks about local anaesthesia and the pain related to this surgery. The patient says that there was not much pain as it was explained to him that the method in which the anaesthesia works and that he was made to stand up to check the area of the surgery. So, it was very helpful for the patient, especially the administration of local anaesthesia.
In conclusion, when Dr. Aniketh asks the patient about whether he will recommend us to others he says, ‘Yeah, I will 100% recommend you to others!

What can a chemical peel do?
Chemical peeling treats fine lines, especially under the eyes and around the mouth. Wrinkles caused by sun damage, ageing, and hereditary factors can be reduced or even eliminated with this procedure. However, sags, bulges, and more severe wrinkles do not respond to peeling and may require other cosmetic surgical procedures. A dermatologist can help determine the most appropriate type of treatment for each individual case.
Mild scarring and certain types of acne may also be treated with chemical peels. In addition, pigmentation of the skin in the form of sun spots, age spots, liver spots, freckles, blotchiness due to taking birth control pills, and skin that is dull in texture and colour may be improved with chemical peeling. Areas of sun-damaged skin and scaling patches may improve after chemical peeling as well. Sunscreens and sunblock lotions must be used in conjunction with chemical peels in order to decrease the chance of the reappearance of lesions.
How are chemical peels performed?
The procedure may be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs. Superficial, medium, or deep chemical peels may be used to improve damaged skin. As a rule, the deeper the peel, the longer the recovery time. Your dermatologist will recommend the best peel for your skin problems.
Prior to treatment, instructions may include stopping certain medications and preparing the skin with pre-conditioning creams.
A chemical peel is usually performed in a dermatologist’s office. The skin is thoroughly cleansed with an agent that removes excess oils, and the eyes and hair are protected. One or more chemical solutions such as glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid, or carbolic acid (phenol) are used. Your dermatologist will suggest the proper peeling agent based on the type of skin damage present and desired results.
During a chemical peel, the physician applies the solution to various areas of the skin. These applications produce separation and eventually peel off layers of skin, enabling rejuvenized skin to appear.
During the procedure, most patients experience a warm-to-hot sensation that may last about five to ten minutes, followed by a stinging sensation. A deeper peel may be more painful and require medication during or after the procedure.

This patient provides a review of the treatment for vitiligo she received at The Venkat Center in Bangalore. In this review the patient reveals that she noticed a small white patch of vitiligo on her neck. At the time she did not know that it was vitiligo. The size of this patch kept increasing. The patient also states that she kept visiting different doctors, until five years ago she visited The Venkat Center. Just like her relative, the patient has also seen a significant improvement in the vitiligo that affected her, and in fact it is almost invisible now. In this video Dr. Mihir Shankar, reconstructive plastic surgeon at The Venkat Center in Bangalore, speaks of a condition called Hidradenitis Supparativa (HS). He goes on to state how this condition becomes noticeable in people. Another prominent characteristic of HS is that it is a recurring condition. The occurrence of the symptoms is either magnified or could wane away.
In brief, Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a chronic skin condition that causes painful, pus-filled bumps to form in areas with hair follicles and sweat glands, such as the armpits, groin, and buttocks. These bumps can become infected, leading to abscesses and scarring.
Symptoms of Hidradenitis Suppurativa:
Notable symptoms of Hidradenitis Suppurativa are:
Painful bumps: These bumps can be red, tender, and filled with pus.
Abscesses: Infected bumps can develop into abscesses, which can be larger and more painful.
Scarring: Repeated infections can lead to scarring.
Tunnelling: In severe cases, tunnels or tracts may form under the skin.
Odour: The affected areas may emit a foul odour due to bacterial infection.
Dr. Mihir then explains the types of treatment options for HS. He states that there are topical treatments and in extreme cases surgery is also recommended.
Some common treatment options include:
Topical medications: Creams or ointments can help reduce inflammation and prevent infection.
Oral medications: Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs can be used to treat infections and manage symptoms.
Surgery: In some cases, surgery may be necessary to drain abscesses or remove affected tissue.
Dr. Mihir also underscores the importance of seeking help when patients have been diagnosed with HS. This is because the patient may develop psychological issues and may start to isolate themselves and this may negatively impact their relationship with others. So, the best option is to seek help from a plastic surgeon to deal with HS. Additionally, tight clothes and corrosive deodorant products may aggravate HS and hence, the patient needs to be mindful of this.

'ವಿರೋಧಾಭಾಸದ ಅಡಿಪೋಸಲ್ ಹೈಪರ್ಪ್ಲಾಸಿಯಾ' ಎಂಬ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಸಹ ಇದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಿಪೋಸ್ ಅಂಗಾಂಶವು ಕೂಲ್ ಸ್ಕಲ್ಪ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ವಿಧಾನದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿನ ಬೆಸ ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಡಾ.ಅನಿಕೇತ್ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮ್ ಲೈಪೊಸಕ್ಷನ್ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಲೈಪೊಸಕ್ಷನ್ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಗುರಿಯ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣ 4-ಮಿಲಿಮೀಟರ್ ರಂಧ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಒಂದು ವಿಧಾನವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ಹೀರಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸೂಜಿಯನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಲೈಪೊಸಕ್ಷನ್ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ, ಡಾ. ಅನಿಕೇತ್ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮ್ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವೆಂಕಟ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ ಲೈಪೊಸಕ್ಷನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಬಳಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಬೇರೆಡೆ ಅದೇ ವಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು. ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಪೇಶೆಂಟನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿತ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಕೊಬ್ಬನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕುವುದರಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅರಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಗಳಿವೆ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವೆಂದರೆ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಅನ್ನು ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಭಂಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬಹುದು ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ದ್ರವವನ್ನು ಹಿಂಡಬಹುದು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಚರ್ಮವು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಗಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ.
