People used to avoid face to face confrontation due to being afraid of physical altercation, now days people are just as afraid of simply being proven wrong. So they avoid any direct conversation and only participate in dicourse in a manner and enviorment they fully control. Aka a post on social media that they can block comments on or just block anyone who challenges their baseless and ignorant narratives. But the past 3 years or so have shown exactly who cares about the truth and those who only care about repeating slogans and slander. Ive learned a lot about myself and those allow(ed) in my life.
