Well Soul Fam, it's finally here! After taking a long hiatus from working on this, Joey and I finally polished up the official music video for my latest song Undone, and it goes live tomorrow!! I began writing this song last year, after an ugly breakup from a doomed relationship. Feeling into every chord and note, hanging on every word, this song allowed me to pour out all of my emotions and transmute them into something beautiful, while helping me find the closure I so desperately needed. In all of my darkest times, music has always been there for me.
I think it's actually a bit ironic, releasing this music video now as I am so in love with a most incredible woman. She is everything I've ever wanted in a partner, my true Divine twin, and I am so lucky and grateful I did the healing work so that I could reunite with her! Looking back on how I felt when writing this song, I could hardly see a way out of my sadness and depression, but I didn't shy away from the work. I didn't try to escape it no matter how hard it was, even if that meant crying in the middle of the woods with my tears falling upon the frozen ground and no one to hear me. One of the lines goes "this battered heart of mine has closed its doors", and it's so funny, because the doors to my heart are now opened wider than ever! So, I hope you enjoy the song and video as much as I enjoyed filming and performing it. And just remember, even in the most darkest of times, you can still find the light. Don't give up.

hello Soul Family! i hope you are all enjoying a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend 💜 i wanted to share something with you all that i’ve been contemplating today.
Usui Mikao is considered the father of modern Reiki, (the energy of Reiki is much more ancient and sometimes i don’t even like to give it a name) and part of Usui Sensei’s teachings was to contemplate the poetry of Emperor Meiji, the Emperor of Japan at that time. i wanted to share one of these poems with you all today. this poem was written by him at a time when Russia and Japan were at war, but this poem applies to all violence and conflict especially today:
“It was our belief
that all the world's oceans
were born of one mother,
so why do the winds and waves
now rise up in angry rage?”
and one of the amazing things about Reiki is it reminds us that we are all connected. we are all of one family. even though we are separated by distance, language or culture, we are all family members sharing this beautiful world. and it is my earnest belief that we are all slowly remembering that simple fact, and rediscovering our shared connection.
