Chuck Davis. Located in the Foothills of East Tennessee. I am a continuously learning beekeeper (completed my 2nd winter with 10 hives and now in my 7th year as a beekeeper) making amateur videos of my beginning experiences. So some of the things you see done may not be the best or correct method but hopefully you can learn from my mistakes. Primary hive boxes are medium supers or Illinois Supers. In my first Winter (2014-15) with 3 hives - 2 were from packages and one from a "cut-out".
I have successfully expanded to 17 hives going into my 3rd Winter (2016-2017). Over the few years as a beekeeper, I have learned a lot about beekeeping but I am nowhere an expert and continuously make errors and mistakes. Enjoy these videos as I learn and improve; and if you see me make mistakes, hopefully you can avoid my errors.
I currently run 50-60 hives and really enjoy experimenting rearing queens
