Really fun milestone hitting 10K subs on YouTube today. I posted the first episode almost a year ago last summer on YouTube, without any expectations at all. DYEY is still fully a side project I’m just doing for fun, and I just wanted to make video content that I wanted to see being made. This journey has been hella fun, and I’ve been able to meet some amazing people along the way. Making videos takes a lot of time, and knowing that people are resonating with and enjoying this content makes it worth it. More videos to come. We got a newborn now though so videos are gonna be even less consistent than before, but I got a backlog of like a dozen videos right now still that I gotta work on whenever I have time lol. Next episode is special though, hoping to release next weekend. Really appreciate all the support so far. Thanks all.

Terrible news coming out of Castro Valley this morning. We had the opportunity to cover Mama Cho’s in our latest video, and are heartbroken by the fire that destroyed the Lake Chabot Public Market overnight. Personally, we stopped by the market at least once a week, and it’s a pillar in the Castro Valley community. Hoping for the best, and will be sharing any updates when any are available.

In honor of AAPI month, we're kicking off the new collection with an episode highlighting my favorite Asian American food around the Bay Area. These chefs have been able to marry various flavors from their own experiences into something great on their menus, and truly represent the Asian American experience.

It's been a minute since we last uploaded a video, so just wanted to share a little highlight video of our baby shower from last weekend. Life's been busy!
We've always wanted to throw a little food festival. So we gathered some of the Bay Area's best into one place and celebrated together with our friends and family with what we love most, which is through food.

Been hella busy but we're back with a new episode, highlighting a recent trip we had in LA. We go to LA a lot to visit friends and family, and every time we drive down we know we're about to eat hella good. Did you eat yet? We're out of town again, and this time, we go back to one of my favorite places in the world, New York City. The regionality of different types of Asian foods that are offered in such a dense area makes it one of my favorite cities to eat in, and I share some of my favorites I've fallen in love with over the last few years.
