If you’re working with the Qualys VM KB via API using a BI tool such as Microsoft PowerBI, you're working with a nested XML data structure which can be a little confusing when you don't initially see the data you expect like you would in the web UI.
To get full use of the Qualys VM KB in a BI tool, you’ll need to create duplicate or reference queries to see all the data and be able to reference that along with your asset data. Drilling into this nested data in Power BI means expanding the parent column of the nested data by using the two outward facing arrows a the top-right of the column.

The intent of this channel is to provide some Qualys-related guidance to a niche community.
There's not a lot of Qualys-provided or community-provided support out there these days it seems, even though Qualys is a great platform. So, this is a channel created to provide useful tips, tricks and insights into using the Qualys cloud platform and accessing Qualys data via API using Python scripting and BI tools.
