The DCS CH-47F Chinook ramp gunner is set too far down in the current version. It needs to be up slightly, better still the ability to move the ramp when the gunner is in place. When you land they're pretty much face in the dirt.

Hopefully we've got a large DCS update today the 30th September 2024. What am I looking forwards to in this one for Chinook?
Well it looks like they're still working on the flight characteristics (DAFCS) however these caught my eye:
DCS: CH-47F by Eagle Dynamics
Gunners:
Fixed. AI gunners don't fire from the human controlled helicopter.
Added. Gunners control window.
Added. Ramp (aft) gunner.
Added. M240H gun for all gunners.
Added. NVG support for gunners
Fixed. The total fuel bar doesn't show correct levels
Fixed. CMWS calls out wrong side for missile launch - my mate has this, I currently have zero audio!
Fixed. RWR using sounds from AH-64D module
Improved. Adjusted sizes and positions of most MFD VSD symbols.
Disabled. EAPS Fail warnings
Fixed. Freeze on the server because of the wrong information from the CH-47F module.
Improved. Steering wheel animations and behavior
There's loads on this one which is great to see!
