Well, just recorded a long winded, unscripted video about how great one-shots and mini-campaigns are, but I'm not sure I will be able to edit it down to something watchable. Probably gonna have another go at it, perhaps a little more scripted so my points is a little more focused and coherent.
If I do re-attempt it, will I ever release the messy, unscripted nonsense i just finished recording? Well...if I get a Patreon or Youtube Membership going again, I suppose it might end up there lol

I've been thinking of making a companion series to my "How to Play" videos called "How to GM" that solely focuses on teaching people how to GM different TTRPGs.
I know I cover a bit of this in the How to Play videos, but I've realized, mostly through comments asking about how to run them, that I don't really cover that info in depth. Partially because I like to keep those videos as short as I feel is reasonable to make them digestible and accessible, and partially because the bigger a single video is the more imposing it is for me to work on.
My thought is the How to GM videos would follow a format of explaining what prep you will want your players to do, what to do in a session 0, how to prep for your games, and how best to run them (in my opinion, of course).
Anyway, I would love to hear what you all think!

I've just learned that Great Than Games, the creators of Sentinel Comics, is being shut down by their parent company, apparently in no small part due to increasing costs from the new tariffs. Breaks my heart to hear that. They had a great team, and Sentinel Comics remains to be perhaps my favorite superhero ttrpg.
I wish those who worked there all the best in finding new employment, hopefully doing something they are just as passionate about.
I fear this isn't the last we'll see of hits like this, so let's all do what we can to support smaller tabletop studios out there.

I know I've said before that I'm working on putting out more regular content, but this time I really am. I promise, work behind the scenes is definitely happening (and also the work that has taken up way too much time the last two years is...slowing down, let's say, so I would really like to make this grow).
