If anybody is wondering on how to do the 8-bits, I just use gxscc. The only thing I feel I do differently is to change some of the notes in the tab so it sounds more like the song does, slides and stuff sound bad on tuxguitar imo. So grab a tab, put it in tux guitar, put it in gsxcc, and then just a video editor and you're set. If you're looking for the g-major method for some reason, send me a message and I'll share what I know.
