Bozhidar Bozhkilov (16.09.1993) is a succesful young bulgarian opera bass. He amassed many international prizes and accolades, including: First pize in the 4th International opera competition "Andrea Chenier", as well as a couple of special prizes, second prizes in the competitions "Rimsky-Korsakov", "Pavel Lisitsian", third prizes in "Franco Federici", "Ljuba Welitsch", "Zeani Grand Prix" etc., special prizes in many international opera competitions when he was younger, including: "Maria Caniglia" (x2), "Elena-Nicolai", "Rimsky-Korsakov" etc.
He’s obtained master's degree in classical singing in the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pantcho Vladigerov" in Sofia, master's degree in law in "New Bulgarian University" in Sofia, biennial in Accademia Teatro alla Scala, course in Aix en Provance, etc.
Through the years he studied with world renown artists, including: Stoyan Popov, Anna Tomova-Sintow, Montserrat Caballe, Bonaldo Giaiotti, Larisa Gergieva, Raina Kabaivanska etc.
