Credit must be given to Michael Jackson—his sense of tonality, tonal color, was no less impressive than Chopin's. The song "Heal the World" starts in A major (three sharps) and then goes through two modulations by major seconds upward: first to B major (five sharps), and then, in the climax, to C# major (seven sharps). While this demands top-level skill, it sounds absolutely amazing!

📝The first week of my learning to play the theremin has ended, and today I will show you some results: Summertime by П. Gershwin will sound for you.
The instrument is incredibly complex - you play with electric fields, as if on an invisible string, in the air, without touching anything - and this gives a special feeling and pleasure.
The color with which theremin sounds cannot be confused with anything, although it is similar to something between the human voice and a cello string, and in a higher register - a violin.
Since this is the first experience, I ask the thereminists not to judge strictly, especially in those places where I did not succeed with my hands, and had to improve in post-processing.

📝 Закончилась первая неделя моего обучения игре на терменвоксе, и сегодня я покажу вам кое-какой результат: для вас прозвучит Summertime Дж.Гершвина.
Инструмент ужасно сложный - ты играешь электрическими полями, словно на невидимой струне, в воздухе, не прикасаясь ни к чему, - и это даёт особое ощущение и удовольствие.
Краску, которой звучит #терменвокс, не спутать ни с чем, хотя она и похожа на нечто среднее между человеческим голосом и струной виолончели, а в более высоком регистре, - и скрипки.
Поскольку это первый опыт, прошу терменвоксистов строго не судить, особенно в тех местах, где мне не всё удавалось руками, и пришлось доводить при постобработке.
