So while playing around with the newest version of ChatGPT, I have discovered it can now make maps! The 1 remaining thing I had to do myself in my AI generated alternate history videos.
It took some back and forth, but it can plot coordinates on a world map, mark a region, and send it to me as a KML file for Google Maps.
Here, it's trying to draw the borders of an alternate Brazil and Venezuela colonized by Germany. It's not perfect yet, and you have to guide it a lot. But given how new this is, it's a little eerie. Maybe I'll create another AI scenario where it draws the borders, and I just refine them in Photoshop. Just to show off this new ability for the fun of it.
Anyways, next full (and non-AI) scenario is still on schedule and should be ready in a few days :)

Here's the first (of eventually around 10) full Europe map from my upcoming video! It's pretty close to what Europe actually looked like in the 990s/early 1000s AD in real life, with the changes being relatively localized at this point.
I won't reveal the topic before the video is out, but feel free to try and guess :)

I haven't been active on here in a long time, but I'm gonna try to do more community posts going forward, listen more to what kind of content you guys want.
So for this post I thought I would pose a question. Do you enjoy the shorter mini scenarios I've been doing recently, or would you prefer I only do full scenarios?
Also for the shorter content, how do you think I could improve upon them? Feel free to give any feedback on how I could improve my videos. What you like/don't like.
