Do you sometime feel like an animal in this wild world? The song and arresting video for "Animal" turns the inside outward, from a whisper to a scream. We like to think we're all so rational and civilized. Deep down, or sometimes just under our skin, animal instincts are eager to escape.
Final video edits are complete, we're excited for this one. Please subscribe to see the full music video dropping later this month.
Much love from the band 🖤

The music from the Dakota Curtis & The Dark band blend sounds of early rock and roll with classic country and heartland rock. Hints of spaghetti westerns meet a frantic and cosmic energy.
Dakota Curtis was raised in the deserts of West Texas with the tornadoes and tarantulas. After moving around the South as a child, he ended up in the Midwest where humidity and snow forced him into a room, and there he found music that was not the classic country and swamp rock he was raised on. He hung around Louisville, Kentucky and studied writing and touring bands. He played shows with many songwriters that took him to many cool places. He plays in a band called Dakota Curtis & The Dark (it’s one of those bands with the guy's name in it. I know). He writes songs and plays them and he loves you for listening
