Getaway House Review
Have you heard of The Getaway House??
This is a tiny house in the woods that you can rent out for yourself or with loved ones! My husband took me here for my birthday a couple years ago and it is still one of my favorites trips. This was shortly after the pandemic hit so I wanted the feeling of a vacation without going far or being around people. I've never been "camping" so this was a nice way to get that feeling (I'm not about that life just yet lol). We weren't alone in the woods, there were other houses around thankfully...just super spread out. We went to the one located in NC but they have many Getaway Houses located across the US. If your love language is QUALITY TIME then this is for you!....but a little weekend was justtt enough for me and hubby lol. Also, I would suggest this for a solo trip if you need to find some quiet time alone. They do have family cabins too with bunk beds if you want to bring your little ones.
Here are my suggestions when going:
-Go during the Fall or Winter. It gives you the feeling of camping. @
-Bring some sort of activity. We did paint and sip, board games and downloaded our favorite shows on the iPad to watch.Bring food to cook. I enjoyed breakfast in bed in the tiny kitchen.
-See if there are activities to do outside the campsite. We went to the zoo which was super close by.

An appropriate young lady
1. Do things that bring out the feminine side of you. Hang out with your friends. Take yourself out. Smell good. Do whatever makes you feel very girly soft. 2. Focus on developing your mind and vocabulary. Be articulate. How you speak says so much about you. What comes out of your mouth? Download Merriam Webster or what you know can teach you a new word everyday. It will make such an improvement in you. 3. Study. Read books. Develop your emotional intelligence. You can't control how people treat you but you can control how you react. Be gentle and calm. Be mindful of how you speak and present yourself to others.
4. Dress well and look put together. This is the first 7 second impression you give someone. Dress how you want to be addressed. I'm telling you, you will feel so much better and the treatment will be better as well.
