La Machine is a street theatre company founded in 1999 and directed by François Delaroziere. It was born from the collaboration of artists, technicians and show designers around the construction of atypical show objects. It is directed by François Delaroziere. A wide range of trades are represented, from show business to arts and crafts, including industry and advanced technologies.
At the heart of the company's artistic approach, movement is interpreted as a language, as a source of emotion. Through each of these living architectures, it is a question of dreaming the cities of tomorrow and thus transforming the way we look at our cities.
Today, La Machine is developing numerous projects in the field of urban development (Les Machines de l'Ile in Nantes, Les Animaux de la Place in La Roche sur Yon, the Manège Carré Sénart, the Minotaure in Toulouse, the Dragon in Calais, etc.) as well as in the field of street performance (Long Ma Jing Shen, Les Mécaniques Savantes, etc.).
