Le Sprinter Club de Nice, fondé en 1964, est le club cycliste historique de la ville de Nice.
Dans les années 70, avec Dante Lavacca, le SC Nice remporta la coupe de France des clubs avec notamment les célÚbres Bernard Valet et Charly Bérard qui ont tous deux fait des carriÚres exemplaires ensuite.
Plus récemment, de nombreux jeunes formés au club ont rejoint les rangs professionnels (Nicolas Roche, Aurélien Passeron, Antoine Lavieu, Alexandre Blain ou encore Jimmy Raibaud).
Le club a pour vocation d'encadrer, de former les jeunes cyclistes et de développer la pratique de cette discipline.
En plus de son aspect formateur et compétiteur, le Sprinter Club de Nice organise et soutient de grandes manifestations afin de démocratiser et développer la pratique du cyclisme.
