I’m actually SAMPLING again!
Today’s choice is the new Absolu by Trudon and I’m loving it. This is my third and final wear, as I have now emptied the sample, but it’s gorgeous.
Perfumer is Antoine Lie and this is not your average orange blossom, the frankincense is resinous and serene, and I also get a hint of a cooling wintergreen type element in the opening. This combination is perfect for making this feel more suited to any season, rather than just sunny days. It also feels very elegant and somewhat less playful than other orange blossom scents I own.
Meanwhile, Poppy is keeping me company as I work today. She has to go in for a little surgery tomorrow to have a lump removed. Hoping it’s nothing to worry about in the long term 🙏

Bit of a damp morning walk but still a lovely start to the day! #sotd was Frangipani by Ormonde Jayne.

Forgot to take a photo before I left for work so I had to screenshot a reel I previously posted to my Instagram 😂
Anyway it’s a rainy spring day and I’m wearing the lovely Victoria by @Frassai to the office. White florals, woody stems topped with a juicy litchi note.
It’s been about 7 hours and I’m still getting a fair amount of beautiful wafting, albeit it’s definitely sitting much closer to the skin by now, as expected.
I can’t say this morning’s meeting was a resounding success but it was also not an abject failure. Either way, I smelled lovely and I’m sure the folks on the other side of the table would have thought so too even if they rudely did not mention it 😂

White Tea by Korres is my #sotd. I just received this as a free gift with another purchase.
Wow, it’s beautiful! I have a feeling this 10ml won’t last long.
…am I becoming a tea scent convert?!
Really fresh, and the citruses feel juicy, not harsh at all.
The price isn’t bad either at $79 for 50ml.
I expect it won’t be a super long lasting profile but 30mins in I am ensconced in a lovely scent bubble so, at least it’s not ‘olfactively invisible’.

Hiiiii Peeps!
You may have noticed that my content has been a little bit all over the place lately. Lots of factors are preventing me from getting longer form content up in a timely manner.
I know you don’t really mind, but just in case you hadn’t already noticed, I am starting to post some shorter single fragrance reviews, mostly #sotd posts, which I hope you will enjoy.

Today’s #sotd was Embruns d’Ylang by Guerlain. It’s definitely a skin scent by now but I can still smell it clearly after 12 hours.
About to have a shower and pick out an evening scent but kind of struggling to think what to wear now. I enjoyed this so much today.
I picked this bottle up over winter and I am now very much looking forward to wearing it in the warmer months!

Jumping on a plane this evening. Decided to go with one of my classic favourites.

Today’s #sotd was an old favourite in the form of a body lotion paired with a new favourite from January this year- Dioriviera.
I know it wasn’t groundbreaking as the first launch from Mr Kurkdjian in his new role at Dior, but I cannot deny I love Dioriviera. It’s fresh, green and rosy and lasts all day. Perfect for our climate.
La Chasse Aux Papillons by L’artisan Parfumeur is just heavenly and I am making a beeline to my closet to dig out the EdP for Sping. It truly is one of the ultimate spring scents and one of my favourite floral fragrances.
For bedtime I am wearing Narciso Rodriguez Poudre a comforting, sweet powdery floral with a touch of yesteryear glamour.
Also, there should be a vlog video going live tonight.
