The fennel is almost ready to harvest! A good rule of thumb (pun intended) is to wait for the fennel bulb to be the size of your fist. If you have a small fist, use someone else's 😄. This usually takes about 3 months, and trust me, it is worth it.

Society's growing disconnect from nature is unfortunate. In this age of food industrialization, we must honour the practices of our predecessors. Organic gardening has a rich history spanning over 10,000 years. We used to cultivate high-quality, organic food for our families, but now we settle for nutrient-poor, pesticide-laden produce from our "trusted" grocers. Some say the days are gone, but I believe in preserving the good things amidst change.
Consider this: today's grocery store apple contains roughly 25 times fewer nutrients than one from 1914. To match the nutritional value of the past, you'd need to consume 25 apples in one sitting. Our current practices have depleted everything, unlike ancient methods that were less harmful to our planet. Although some may argue that there is no longer a reason to care, that is the exact mindset that needs to be eliminated.
I'm here to assist those who still care deeply. May the Lord be with you always.
