"Mama was in blood," Gabriella Dixon's 2-year-old daughter said on October 30, 2023, hours before Gabriella's mother realized she was missing. Nearly a year later, Gabriella's family believes her body has been found.
The key to what happened to 18-year-old Gabriella may lie in the months leading up to her disappearance:
➡️ Warrants from September 2023 revealed that Reginald Harris, her ex-boyfriend and father of her two children, had allegedly exhibited violent behavior.
➡️ Deputies later responded to an incident where Gabriella reported that Harris had choked her and threatened her. She claimed he said, “He would kill her if she ever left.”
In the months after Gabriella vanished, Harris was arrested in Macon, Georgia, on charges of aggravated assault and battery. Jatarvius Deangelo Price was also taken into custody for allegedly providing false statements and tampering with evidence related to Gabriella's disappearance.
The case took a turn on July 24, 2024, when human remains matching Gabriella's description were found in a Monroe County, Georgia, wooded area. Charges have been filed against Price and Harris in Gabriella's case.
