My primary focus is teaching how to play covers of popular new country songs as well as select songs from other genres. However, I also offer beginner guitar lessons, which include music fundamentals such as strumming, timing, music theory and common guitar chords.
As a Music and Architectural student at The University of Illinois, I learned a lot about music and music theory. Afterwards, I began a long career in the building materials industry and also became a semi-professional musician ... performing 50+ gigs annually. I started with open mic nights and, ultimately, landed my first performance at the world famous Tootsies in Nashville!
