I've wanted to share clips from some old Twitch livestreams for a while, but I think it's probably the least appropriate thing for this channel, despite the scattershot nature of the channel in the first place. Anyway, I'm opening a secondary channel just to dump clips onto. I'm slowly gonna be uploading a really old backlog of clips over the years and occasionally update with new ones over time. Here's an example over on the new secondary channel, ‪@MarzGurlTwitchClips‬ . watch video on watch page

Hello, all.

I know it's been quite a while since I did anything super substantial. I'm constantly itching to do a new project and just can't seem to motivate myself with anything big and new. However, my husband and I have been regularly making a particularly niche podcast called MokkoriPlay, which is specifically dedicated to the anime and manga franchise of City Hunter. We've actually been doing episodes nearly every week for about a year and a half straight now, and it's been uploading to almost all the popular podcast platforms. YouTube has recently been pushing for people to platform their podcasts here, too, so I've been slowly converting the podcast episodes to video and getting them uploaded over here. I'll be releasing them one at a time every couple of days, starting later in the middle of the day today with episode zero, which I think you'll find will be a great introduction to just what City Hunter actually is.

Thank you for still being around. I hope to keep poking away at something else interesting that I can present to you in the future. Until then, please keep looking forward to episodes of MokkoriPlay every couple days for a good long while to come.

Hey there. Short-ish notice, but as I mentioned earlier in the week, I'm gonna try to throw down a Portal 2 livestream here on YouTube while I capture footage for what should be a follow-up to my video about closed captions in Portal. Doing it tonight at 8:00 PM PST. Come over to my channel's front page at about that time if you happen to be around, and I'll see you there.

I fairly frequently stream on Twitch, but after releasing a video about closed captions in Portal, I've installed Portal 2 to potentially do a comparison video about the closed captions in both games. It might not make much of a video if they're largely the same from the first game to the second, but it might still be interesting anyway. In any case, if it's going to be related to a video, I may go ahead and do the stream here on YouTube rather than on Twitch. I dunno, just gonna try some stuff out and see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted over the next week or so. Might be fun to play around with in the near future. Just gonna try to be more active and see if anything comes of it. We'll see.

Hi, all. Haven't done much with my channel in a while. Not sure if I've got anything specific coming or not in the near future, really. But earlier today somebody told me that they had not been able to catch some recent livestreams I'd done over on my Twitch channel and wanted a means of watching those archived streams. So I exported those first three streams I've done to this channel. They're currently unlisted because I didn't necessarily want to bother nearly 20,000 people with something as silly as really, really, really long livestream uploads, since that wouldn't really be the content they'd be used to from me (even if really at this point they aren't exactly expecting anything at all). I've put them together in a playlist that's public, however, so I believe if you go to my PLAYLISTS tab, you SHOULD see them there, if you're interested. I'll also drop the link to the playlist in a comment under this post. That's a thing I can do, right? I think that's a thing I can do. I don't utilize the community tab a lot.

Anyway, I'm looking into being more active on YouTube again, but also trying to be cautious about the kind of content I once used to cover, considering the situations popping up with some other YouTubers regarding copyright and Japanese content. If there's something specific you'd like for me to talk about, however, I'm certainly willing to try out some new things. We'll see.

Thanks, guys. Sorry to bug you! watch video on watch page

I've been sitting and considering what to do next with the channel. The response to that last video was not what I expected, in a good way. I was afraid that it would actually scare a lot of people off, but the reality is that many people were hungry for that kind of content, and a lot of new people showed up and subscribed. I fear turning this into a drama channel and am hesitant to steer too terribly far down that road, but am very interested in dispelling myths and rumors spread too far by those who do not mean well at all. I'm more than happy to take suggestions on future topics, and I have an interest in returning to YouTube livestreaming. I currently stream semi-regularly on Twitch, but it may be good to dedicate some days specifically to YouTube. I hope with your help, we can hone this place to be better than the cobwebs I've previously let grow here. Thanks for stopping by. We'll do something new and fun together very soon.

If you have not seen my most recent video, I discussed the very important problem of anime fans who ignored an important Twitter post from American localization studio Funimation, who were simply trying to bring attention to hate crimes being committed against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Instead, they flooded their responses and retweets with angry, ignorant, hateful, uninformed, or even misinformed tweets about completely unrelated topics. It's a dangerous effect spurred on by angry reactionary YouTubers who are more than willing to spread disinformation about the anime industry to gain your clicks. I am not expecting that this is going to change the minds of those who have already been swept up in the anger generated and fueled by reactionary culture war YouTubers, but if you have not been whipped up by their angry rhetoric, you may be interested in seeing how the community has decided that their misinformed opinions on how the anime industry works is more important than taking care of the AAPI members of our community and society. It would bring me great joy if you took a little time out of your day to give this video a chance. watch video on watch page

‪@GameXplain‬ was kind enough to let me host a new video review of Sakura Wars for PS4! Please visit their channel to see the review. Sega was also kind enough to send me a review copy to do this, so I feel very fortunate to have been able to do all of this. You can also go to the front page 9f my channel and check out the "Stuff I Worked On" playlist to get to the video fast. Thanks, everyone!
