Born in NYC to a TV repairman-musician father Joseph Bryant Jr. and a RN mother Pearl McClendon-Bryant . He was exposed to so many styles and types of music .Diagnosed with NEPHRITIS at age 11 , started classical piano lessons from GLORIA JACKSON in St. Albans and blues and jazz piano lessons at home from his father Joseph. His mother signed him up in the Jamaica Branch Queens library 'FILM CLUB". He practiced his piano playing and with his young creative imagination taught himself how to score movies, by turning the sound off of the television ( his Dad's' idea ) and playing along with it. His dad owned a Bell & Howell silent SUPER 8 movie camera he was allowed to 'play with' from time to time. In 1978 during a short enrollment at Savannah State University under Professor Samuel Gill Sr. , Vincent started and operated the 1st electronic music workshop. See full BIO on my SOUNDCLOUD link.
