This phasor was not set to 'stun'. New tower site tour is coming up later this month—this time it's one of those crazy AM sites with a bunch of towers and some of the beefiest relays we've heard!

Bonus: does anyone know what's depicted in the 2nd picture?

At an AM tower site, some things are safer to touch than others!

We visited 1120 KMOX-AM, Audacy's 50,000W clear channel station in St. Louis, MO, last week.

There's a LOT of footage, so bear with us as we edit it down into a nice transmitter site tour. The station is nearing its 100 year anniversary, and we also got to speak to the engineers keeping this station going for another generation!

Just chillin' on the KSDK TV tower outside of St. Louis...

These are a couple stills from drone footage we're using in our next video! Stay tuned and we'll show you what goes into the broadcast of a high power digital TV station in St. Louis, MO—in fact, the 2nd TV station west of the Mississippi River!

And if you look closely in the 2nd picture, you can see the FM 'Supertower' in the background on the right—and downtown St. Louis at the far right (downtown Clayton is on the far left).

You can see why this location was chosen to cover the St. Louis Metro area. You see just about everything from 1,000 ft in the air here!
