in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Interesting observation while reviewing the analytics of this channel. Just taking a sample of the last 7 days, we're getting nearly half of the watch time needed (on average) with less than 14% of the needed subscribers (in regard to monetization). If that trend of watch time continues we may get more serious here! In summary, THANK YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH for watching! - Vern

Content Creator friends:
In order to achieve 4000 watch hours in 365 days you must average 11 watch hours every day. That means (just speaking in terms of averages) that if you post a 5 minute video every day, the videos must be fully viewed 132 times each. A 10 minute video every day would need to be fully viewed 66 times. And we all know by looking at the average view duration of our videos that every view does not signify that the viewer watched the entire video.
If you're only positing a 10 minute video once per week that video would need to be viewed in entirety 462 times to average 11 watch hours per day. Again, we all know that if a 10 minute video reaches 462 views......the watch time is only going to be a fraction of what is needed due to the average view duration being much less.
Of course many of you will argue that you need to work on increasing your video retention (among other things) and you wouldn't be wrong. Go for it! It will help! BUT......many of you have a loyal community of people ready to soak up your content. I'm not quite there yet BUT SOME OF YOU ARE!!!! You just need more content to translate into more watch hours.
You can still do your regular videos with the fancy editing, thumbnails, bells and whistles, but supplement that with an occasional raw video of you just sharing your heart about something pertinent to your niche! This will help you increase your watch hours without taking up additional valuable time spent on editing and such. And before you say that this will bring down the overall quality of your channel.......just look at folks like Dough Dash. No overly fancy thumbnails and very little editing.
I hope someone finds this helpful and inspiring.
