“What Does It Mean to Be An American?” is a free educational curriculum offering six lessons for educators, high school and college students. The curriculum consists of six independent learning modules that examine a key theme from Secretary Norman Mineta’s life and career:

Each module provides different perspectives for students to answer the curriculum’s central question: What does it mean to be an American?
