For the ones waiting for MONTHLY INCOME FROM UDEMY, SKILLSHARE ETC.
I will not be making those monthly anymore.
The reason is that there is not much to show.
Courses (Udemy & Skillshare in particular) became such a big part of my income (at one point only these 2 were 80-90% of my whole monthly income) that it became way too unstable. I was seeing 50-80% change from month to month (both increase & decrease) and it was not a great thing to experience (especially when you are married with 2 kids).
So for that reason I shifted my focus away from course platforms (not entirely though, I still create new courses) and focused on more diverse income sources. At the moment courses make around 40-50% of all my online income and average monthly income from courses did not increase by a lot. I generate income from Affiliate Marketing, YouTube Ads, Digital Product Sales, Consulting Calls, Brand Deals & a bunch of other small sources, which separately may not generate a lot of income, but they add up. And I will be making videos about each one of those so stay tuned.
That's why I don't think making videos about only course revenue is not essential anymore. Seeing a tiny growth (or even decline) every single month is simply not interesting anymore. I have documented more than a year of income, month to month, and for the most it is more than they are willing to be instructors for (trust me, only a VERY few actually go through a year of being an instructor).
I will probably do yearly income reports though so stay tuned for that.
