This channel is a medium for me to share knowledge/information which i found interesting. This channel is also linked to RSR Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/rashid.research/). I'm an Assoc. Prof. of Applied Linguistics at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia. I completed my PhD in the School of Education, University of Nottingham (UK campus). My first book, Supportive Conversation on Facebook Timelines, was published by Routledge in August 2018. My second book- New Media Narratives and Cultural Influence in Malaysia: The Strategic Construction of Blog Rhetoric by an Apostate – was published by Springer in September 2019. In the same year, I was nominated by Clarivate Analytics/WoS for Malaysia Research Star Award in the category of Research and Innovation Excellence Researcher in Arts and Applied Arts. I am also the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Nusantara Studies, a social science journal indexed by Web of Science.
