It's about that time again, about time I dipped my quil in the ink pot and carried on from where I left off with my mini library of butchery books...
So, #SRP Volume 5 will be all about Lamb and its going to be a corker.
I have written five books to date and four of these make up the #SRP set.
I had a vision at the very start, I wanted to write the definitive collection of books on butchery, a book for each beast. As a collector of books I have always liked the look of sets of books in one colour, no flash cover pictures just the title. and let the content do the talking.
As you can see in the picture, my books are sat next to some of my treasured vintage butchery books and its not until today that I noticed, the colours of my books mirror the classic trade books on my shelf, a total coincidence but I think they fit in very nicely.
My books have sold worldwide and I'm keen to get started on lamb, eventually following up with beef so I'll keep you posted.

Author, Butcher, Cook.
The Scott Rea Project started as just that, a project, a personal passion I have for butchery and food that I wanted to share before the skills and traditions I learnt over a lifetime died away.
But it has evolved and become a movement, a mobilisation of like minded people who feed off my videos - they imitate, replicate, modify and experiment!
We are dragging game, offal and traditional artisan butchery and recipes into the 21st century for a new generation to discover and enjoy.
No longer are these products and methods frowned upon, this new audience are getting back to the basics of field to fork, nose to tail eating.
