Dear YouTube.
I wish I could talk to some of the people who decided to thumbs down the last vlog I posted. It's one of the rare moments I've filmed of myself during a near panic moment that is difficult for me to share to begin with (on the bridge), especially when it comes to my anxiety issues. I try to be vulnerable sometimes and hope that it's useful-and in the same token I got some lovely comments and those are so much more appreciated after seeing the worst negative statistics I've seen on a vlog that I've ever posted. I honestly still don't know why YouTube even offers this as an option for people to dislike what you create with no reason. I'd prefer to know WHY instead of a passive aggressive 👎🏼 with zero explanation. Was it the bridge? Was it the upcycle? LIKE what? I'm just left not knowing, if I knew I could at least adjust and grow from it. YouTube is HARD you guys, I've said it before and I will say it again. You can grind, and bust your ass and inch along. Sure numbers are growing (slowwwwly) but it's a total kick in the face when you are putting your heart and soul out there and people have the audacity to show you they don't like it. I don't think I have put a thumbs down on a video ever. Like- EVER in my life. Even if I don't like a vid, I just move along to the next. Sure some people could argue the thumbs down option is so you know your audience doesn't like it-but I make vlogs so WHICH PART don't they like. Honestly-just less thumbs up than normal is enough indicator my audience doesn't or does prefer specific content. I'm usually so unbothered by it-but this one hit differently because I was already uneasy about sharing that moment at all. Sorry-rant over but that's frustrating.

Hi YT friends! So I'm actually back from my little road trip and am currently working on editing the video. I noticed while I was gone, that my Sobriety Story video is getting some traction and lots of amazing comments, I am loving reading and hearing all of your stories of sobriety. Once I get this vacation video up I was thinking I could do a little "Sober Vacationing" video but had intended on talking about thrifting while on my travels too. What would you prefer? I had a couple of small issues with my most recent upload so I took it down to fix it. Apparently, 5 seconds of Beyonce's new song is enough for a copyright strike lol. Hopefully, the shorter version will be ok. It will be going back up in a bit. Stay tuned!
