Arash Azadi: Composer, Interdisciplinary Artist & Art Director
Born in 1994 in Hamedan, Iran. Began music when he was 9 with the Persian instrument “Se-tar” and has been studying composition in Yerevan state conservatory in Armenia since 2012. Began his studies with Prof. Ashot Zohrabyan and then continued with Prof. Vartan Adjemian. He has studied MaxMSP with Prof. Judy Dunaway through online courses of Massachusetts college of Art.
His recent works are more in the field of electro-acoustic and experimental music, audio-visual pieces including visuals, performance art and improvised dance and theatre. Beside his multidisciplinary approach that combines different arts and philosophical views, he is interested in researching over combining his backgrounds in math and computer with the acoustic sounds and folk materials in a modern literary language.
His music has been performed in France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Armenia and Iran.
