This week's affirmation is, "Everything I am looking for, I can find within me."
This is kind of how I've been living my life for quite some time, now. I am happy whether someone wants to share my life or not. I have a need for continued self-improvement, and I know that changes I want in my life start with my decision to make them happen.
Often, I quote "This, above all, to thine own self be true." It's something that inspires me to keep growing and pushing forward. I am true to myself and what I can handle.
Sure, there are days when things waver a bit. Sometimes, it seems that I would have been better off just lying in bed. But that won't get me to where I want to be in life.

This week's daily affirmation is, "I have so much to offer the world."
This is something I remind myself every day. It's the reason why I continue to do what I do despite not making a lot of money. I am helpful by nature and want to assist those looking to better themselves. Messages like "Thank you for this" mean more to me than what my bank account looks like or what kind of car I drive.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to make more money and take care of everyone around me. But it's not what drives me every morning.
You don't need to have the same mindset. But giving yourself an affirmation that you have something to offer is quite empowering, especially if you run with it. Think highly of yourself regardless of circumstance.

Next Monday, @MargaretPinard will join me on After Hours for a live author interview. It's sure to be fun, and I can't wait to ask her about traveling across the pond and the places she's explored.
We're live at 7pm MTN on November 11th.

The affirmation this week is, "I am becoming the best version of myself."
I'm constantly working on the best version of myself, whether it's writing or health and fitness. It doesn't always work out as planned, but at least I am putting in the effort.
We all grow at our own pace. And the best version of yourself today is the one that is better than who you were yesterday, regardless of how big or small the victory. Every day is full of learning moments. Use them.

The daily affirmation this week is, "I will not look back, only forward."
It's OK to learn from the past. That's how you prevent yourself from making the same mistakes. However, you shouldn't dwell on the past. What's done, is done. Move on from it and keep sight of where you want to go.
I know too many people who dwell on things that happened more than 10 years ago. If you don't find a way to move past those situations, it'll be much harder to grow as a person. Learn from the experiences, but don't let them govern your future.

I had a lot of fun at D3 Arts yesterday. And yes, the live stream was restricted in certain areas because of the music at the event. Eh...it happens.
