On July, 10 21:45 I present the new program Chikiss:Resilience in a borders of the festival Heroines Of Sound at Radialsystem. Berlin.
Pieces never performed live, most of them never published. Several were created during illness, when voice disappeared for a month and a half, and with it — all movement. Everything froze. Breathing became the foundation of new music — an important, though forced experience of silence and coming to harmony with oneself. The pieces have withstood time, changed like life itself, but haven’t aged — they’ve grown stronger and more piercing. In this rapidly changing world, where challenges grow more complex, resilience becomes not merely desirable but essential for survival. True happiness is achieved not through external circumstances, but through inner state of spirit.
Пьесы, никогда не игранные вживую, большая часть даже не издавалась. Некоторые создавались в период болезни, когда на полтора месяца пропал голос, и с ним — движение. Всё замерло. Дыхание стало основой новой музыки — важный, хоть вынужденный опыт тишины и прихода к гармонии с собой. Эти призрачные композиции настоялись временем, изменились, как жизнь, но не устарели — стали сильнее и пронзительнее. В быстро меняющемся мире, где вызовы усложняются, устойчивость — не просто желательное качество, но необходимое для выживания. Истинное счастье достигается не внешними обстоятельствами, а внутренним состоянием духа.

Dear subscribers. If you are in Berlin. On March 28 at Berlin HAU 1 my friend Daria Goremykina —an incredible pianist and sound researcher—and I will present the project ‚Echoes of Dissent‘.
As part of the festival ‚Every Day: Feminist Struggles in Post-Socialist Europe‘, we will pay tribute to dissident female composers from the Eastern Bloc. The concert will feature an electroacoustic homage to the music of Galina Ustvolskaya, Elena Firsova, Sofia Gubaidulina, and Grażyna Bacewicz, interwoven with their own words from interviews—revealing the depth of their personalities, philosophies, and artistic visions.
Also TATAR:KYZLAR will present their debut album in the frame of the evening. Come to see such a contrast and special live acts.

This video is filled with strange yet sincere tenderness. Thanks to the friends and family who participated in it, and to my places of power where it was filmed. On one hand, there’s a dynamic abstraction, like what happens in a dream. On the other hand, it's about how everything is interconnected through scents, memories, touches, currents of air. Everything physical has an end, but love—whether in a dream or in reality—is the chemistry of connection and attraction, eternal and continuous.

“Nevesta”, the second single from the upcoming Chikiss album is out today.
Minimalist lines, resembling more a mysterious counting rhyme than a poem. It is As if groping through a viscous, blurred landscape of inaction, procrastination, and fears towards a cherished goal. Everyone has their own. And what doesn’t work out means it simply doesn’t work out. But what is meant to happen always happens.

DKN is one of the most atmospheric tracks from the upcoming album by Chikiss – an expressionist noir-jazz fantasy about a girl who doesn’t exist; a muse of the artist, sometimes disappearing into storm clouds and meteor showers, and sometimes suddenly appearing out of nowhere — elusive, weightless, yet tangible and highly desirable.

Galina Ozeran more known as Chikiss is a singer and pianist, composer and electronic producer, born in Belarus, based in Berlin. Having recorded her first album in 2005, she has produced a large musical output from post-punk and psychedelic rock to minimalistic synthesizer pop and spectral ascetic electronics.
Chikiss has six full-length albums and numerous singles, EPs, mixtapes, concerts in alternative music centres and international festivals. Also collaborations with artists from the whole world such as Ensemble Economique (Video Salon), Eva Geist, Sveta Ben, Thomas Azier, Die Wilde Jagd, Bad Hammer, Pilocka Krach, Plattenbau, Etkin Cekin (God is God), Mustelide (Deti Vechnosti), Maya Postepski and many others. The resident of the labels Bureau B, Not Not Fun, Crash Symbols, Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound, Space Ritual, Fuselab, Klammklang, Sameheads.
As a solo artist and in various collaborations she has created her personal and idiosyncratic style.
