Hey everyone,

There has been some changes regarding using my songs in your videos. As some of you may know, there have been few occasions where my songs were falsely claimed, basically stealing my work, and falsely claiming all the videos. I've been given an opportunity to protect my work and for everyone to continue using my music , but you'll have to follow a certain form, which you can find in all of my video descriptions, but I'll also post it here. The form is basically giving myself and my featuring artists proper credit.

I'll provide an example with Vacation ( basically you have to put artist(s) name(s) and song title with the link to the original video in your video description ).

Example :

- Damon Empero ft. Veronica - Vacation

If you received a Content ID Claim :

Please fill in this form if you want to use the music of Damon Empero and you received a YouTube Content ID claim. My label will follow up with a response once the request has been reviewed and approved.

I believe this is the best compromise for myself as an artist, and for every content creator using my songs(s). This way your video won't get claimed by a random person, and my work will be protected from any false claims. And if you do get a Content ID claim, it will be resolved in 24 hours, so don't worry about your videos being demonetised .

If you already gave proper credit, then you shouldn't get a Content ID claim.

I've had many questions about the "credit" meaning. It doesn't mean to give any money or anything, it simply means to write an artist name and the song title in your video description, so other people know who made the music that is being used in the video.

So basically, if you upload a video which contains my music, you have to put the form I provided above in your video description, and then you won't get any Content ID claims.

Please carefully read my video descriptions before using my music in your videos, so there won't be any misunderstanding.

I hope you understand the reasoning behind this.
